Join Gauri and Hanna for a delightful weekend in ‘Hof de Brulle’ to practice yoga and meditation, learn about the yogic approach to food, and gain inspiration and recipes for healthy cooking!
About the venue
Hof De Brulle – a restored farmhouse in Dutch Limburg – has everything for a great summer weekend retreat: a serene yoga room, cozy bedrooms, a charming area, a purpose-built kitchen for cooking workshops, and a beautiful garden to walk, relax and eat in.
Hof de Brulle is located in Wijlre (the Netherlands), just over the Belgian border. It’s a 1.5h drive from Brussels and very close to Maastricht.

The cooking workshops are rooted in the yoga philosophy and a cumulation of over 18 years of yoga practice and yogic cooking. We use only organic, fresh, mostly vegan ingredients.
The cooking workshops are designed to be educational, delicious and fun. Everyone works hands-on, and we will enjoy the results together.
Don’t worry if you have been to our previous cooking retreats or workshops, we are sure that there is a lot more to discover! Also for people with allergies, this is a great opportunity to get inspired by new food items and combinations!
Cooking Workshop 1 (Saturday): Indian-Inspired
In the first workshop we prepare easy, balanced meals fragrant with exotic spices (turmeric, cumin, cardamom, coriander, …) on the basis of lentils and vegetables. We prepare ghee together and we also make some sweet plant-based desserts and give attention to the breakfast of next day.
Cooking Workshop 2 (Sunday): Mediterranean
In this session we bring sunshine on the plate with dishes inspired by Italian, Greek and Lebanese cuisine. We will also learn some new healthy desserts. Simple recipes based on pure ingredients and fresh herbs are sure to become your favorites at home.
Cooking Workshop 3 (Monday): Quick Meals
The last workshop helps you with inspiration for workday meals. We prepare balanced meals that are ready in 15-30 minutes, often based on an ingredient you can prep in advance and use for multiple meals during the week (lentils, quinoa).
Single room supplement 60€, limited availability.
Price includes everything: accommodation, lectures, workshops and yoga classes, organic vegetarian food, drinks, tea.

Reservation must be confirmed with a deposit of 150€.
Full price to be paid at least 3 weeks before start of the retreat.
Cancellation possible (with 50€ admin fee) until 3 weeks before start of retreat; no refund after this time.
The organizers – Hanna (Finland) and Gauri (Belgium) are certified Sampoorna yoga teachers (YA500hrs) who practice yoga since 18 years and love to share the treasure of yoga and healthy ‘yogic’ food.
